The Russell Peters Show...

Bonjour mes amis... ( Hello my friends in French)... ok so i didnt mention that i know French! Big whooping deal..:) but Yes i know french! :) 12 years of full time training, i should use the language sometime in my life..( considering ill never meet a cute french boy.. who speaks english fluently but is still willing to converse with me in broken french.........!! NOOO .. his french is not broken !! Mineeeeeeeee is !!! Sigh... )

So another day, a Sunday.. more like Hellday coming alive everyweek... ! I tell u.. we should all go global.. every country should have 3 days off.. not 2.. coz it causes a lot of confusion and extra work, this 2 day off business!! Dont you think? I mean.. we have friday, saturdays off in the Middle east... Europe and Asia goes with Sat and Sunday... so if things need to work ... it will work only on Mon-Thursday.. and god forbid if you work on Thursday ( Middle eastern companies) and want something done Urgently!!! Then kaboooom... friday off in middle east, saturday and sunday off everywhere else in the world.. and the package with the delightful lille bomb has reached the final destination 3 days late!!! HORRRIFFFICCC innit? *sigh*.... i say we all protest.. for 3 days off...!! Get on the streets.. with rap songs blasting out loud.. " ONE TWO THREE .. THREE IS THE NUMBER.. GIVE US THREE DAYS OFF.. OR TURN INTO FLUBBER!" ( that my friends.. is called a sad saddd attempt at rhyming your slogans!)

Ok so after a hectic day at work.. which may i say is the story of my working life, I geared up for the most awaited event of the month... The Russell Peters Show! Finally, after having youtubed him and downloaded him and technically ate, slept and breathed him for sometime, i was actually gettin to go and watch this guy's event LIVE! .. well.. yea it did cost me a lille.. a lileeeee more than i expected.. AED 130/- but hmm.. i guess i would do anything to get a good laugh ( no you perverts, dont get ideas!!) ....
Thanks to my friend Ji who managed to somehow shoot the lion that guarded the cage that held the captive technician that managed the websites that sold the tickets to the first day first show of Russell , we finally got 3 tickets for ourselves for the day. For those of my friends reading this, who didnt get to go for the first show... please dont curse me... i did not buy them for myself.. and ihad many of you in mind.. but ji just killed the lion remember? eventually enabling us to get the last available set of tickets.. !! :) so yes... apologies in advance. ....
Continuing my story... we got the tickets... took forver to find parking ... wait waitttttt... i have to rephrase that... it took forver to find a NON PAID parking... which again Ji managed to hunt down ( i do make him seem like tarzan's offspring dont i? .... but no.. my life aint that interesting i guess!) so we found parking.. managed to meet our other friend.. and entered the ballroom a whole hour early for a show.....stood in a tiny are jam packed with russell lovers i guess.. every nationality that understood english was there.. it was quite interesting to see such a huge crowd on a weekday.. for alaughter show! :)

At 8 pm ( punctuality running on a high these days i can see!) ... the show began... and OH MY GOD... it was ABSAFUCKINGLUTELY MINDDDDDDDD BLASTINGGGGGGGGGG!!!( yes.. my friends.. u know where that comes from!) ...
2 hours of nonstop laughter.. genuine skill i must say.. this guy is god gifted.. i mean he can take a chair and turn it into a joke.. quite kewl..:) ... people .. take my advice.. if you everrrrrrr get a chance to watch this man perform.. go watch him.. its 2 hours of absolute joy!! :)
And so i returned home, from a bleh day at work.. with a headache and a smile plastered across my face! :)

Guess thats not too bad for 8 hours of hell in a day.. 2 hours of laughter can make it seem so worth it! :):)
